To support the group's growth and challenges, TARMAC Aerosave is looking for a Quality Operational Manager (QOM) M/F on a permanent contract (CDI).
As part of the creation of a new Business Unit dedicated to PART 21 aeronautical activities, you will manage the operational quality of the Francazal and In-Situ scope, in connection with the Production teams, support functions, the client, and Quality Assurance.
Reporting to the BU Manager PART 21, you will supervise the Quality Inspectors and contribute to guaranteeing product conformity, the performance of quality controls, the monitoring of non-conformities, and operational quality performance.
You will be required to work at the following sites: Cugnaux (31), St Martin du Touch (31), and JL Lagardère (31).
Your future challenges during your onboarding with us:
- Operational management: Organize operational quality coverage based on activities, schedules, MSNs, priorities, and reinforcement needs. Guarantee the proper execution of quality controls and inspections by the teams.
- Management: Lead, manage, train, support, and evaluate the Quality Inspectors for whom you will be responsible, ensure recruitment and the maintenance of skills.
- Operational quality monitoring: Monitor non-conformities, QSR, CPB, CDIS, quality anomalies, and blocking points associated with your scope. Contribute to quality action plans, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement actions.
- Coordination: Ensure the operational quality interface with the client and participate in quality points, SQCDP, and operational meetings. Work in coordination with other internal functions to ensure that quality requirements are properly taken into account during activities.
- Traceability and reporting: Use client, quality, and traceability tools, notably to perform reporting to the BU Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with PART 21, HSE, SMS, FOD, PPE, and aircraft safety rules.
Crew expectations:
Coming from a Bac+2 to Bac+3 training in aeronautics, quality, or a technical field. You have significant experience in the aeronautical world, ideally at least 5 years as a Quality Inspector or in an operational quality function. AIRBUS experience is expected. Knowledge of PART 21, Part 145, MRO, FAL, runway, or aircraft activities environments is a significant asset. Initial experience in management or team coordination is highly appreciated. Understanding technical English and knowledge of quality/client tools (SAP, AIRNAV, ALB...) will be necessary. You are recognized for your rigor, your analytical capacity, your communication skills, and your ability to coordinate quality matters with various stakeholders.
