To support the group's growth and challenges, TARMAC Aerosave is looking for an Aerospace Configuration Manager (M/F), on a permanent contract (CDI) for our site in Azereix (65).
The Configuration Manager guarantees the compliance, traceability, and control of the configuration of engines and their components throughout the maintenance cycle, in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements, in order to ensure aviation safety, airworthiness, and the quality of MRO operations while respecting quality, cost, deadline requirements, and safety instructions.

Technical configuration management: Define, maintain, and control the technical configuration of engines and modules, ensuring compliance with approved data, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation traceability and consistency: Guarantee full traceability of parts, modules, and engine sub-assemblies and ensure consistency between the physical configuration of engines and the associated technical documentation.
- Management of evolutions and kits: Manage configuration evolutions (SB, standards, specifications), configure and validate engine kits in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, compile configuration files, and edit and stamp 'OP Conf' validated documents.
- Field validation and operational support: Physically verify and validate (line-by-line inventory) the compliance of kits to be sent up, assist workshops and the technical office on configuration and compliance questions, and control, in connection with the project technical expert, the compliance of technical calculations for parts/modules.
- Expertise and continuous improvement: Identify and analyze configuration discrepancies, contribute to industrialization projects, provide technical expertise, and participate in the development of guides and standards.
- Quality, Safety: Respect safety instructions, use protective equipment, apply SMS (Safety Management System) rules, promote workplace safety, and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
Crew expectations:
With higher education (Bac+2/3) in aeronautics, mechanical engineering, or production engineering, you have initial experience within a similar function and scope.
Experience as an engine mechanic/technician (LEAP and CFM 56) would be a plus for your application.
You are familiar with engine technical documentation (AD, SB, ESM, PPBUM, AMM etc.) and possess a solid foundation of knowledge in aeronautical mechanics, particularly regarding engine structures, modules, LLP, rotating parts, and critical parts.
You master PART 145 requirements and are familiar with internal, customer, and authority audit processes.
Autonomous, rigorous, proactive, and organized, you know how to organize activities and manage priorities. You have a sense of teamwork and know how to mobilize others.
