General Accountant 100% Remote M/F

DESCRIPTION

Context:

In a context of strong growth, our client is continuing the structuring of its Finance function and is looking for a General Accountant capable of ensuring complete management of the accounting while contributing to the transformation of processes.

This position is intended for a professional wishing to evolve in a technological environment where automation, digitalization of processes, and artificial intelligence constitute real levers of performance. You will work closely with the Finance Department and actively participate in the construction of a modern, agile Finance function oriented towards continuous improvement.

Your missions:

Reporting directly to the Administrative and Financial Manager, you will notably intervene in the following missions:

• Ensure the complete management of supplier and customer cycles, from invoice processing to the monitoring of payments, collections, reconciliations, and the resolution of any discrepancies.
• Guarantee the reliability of the general accounting by taking charge of closing entries, provisions, prepaid expenses, bank reconciliations, as well as the justification of accounts in compliance with monthly and annual deadlines.
• Contribute to the quality of financial data by producing the elements necessary for reporting and business management, while ensuring the accuracy of the information communicated to the Finance Department.
• Participate in the transformation of the Finance function by designing and evolving automations based on Pennylane, its APIs, generative artificial intelligence tools, and workflow solutions, in order to reduce manual tasks and improve process reliability.
• Supervise automated processing by ensuring the control of produced results, the handling of exceptions, and the continuous improvement of the implemented workflows.
• Guarantee compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations, ensure the preparation of audit elements, and be the primary contact for external accounting partners.
• Be the point of reference on all accounting matters and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of practices, tools, and processes of the Finance function.

REQUIREMENTS

This position is for you if:

• You have a higher education degree in accounting, finance, or management.
• You have at least five years of experience in general accounting and have developed a complete vision of supplier, customer, and general accounting cycles.
• You master Pennylane and have already used artificial intelligence tools, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and are able to demonstrate concrete achievements in the automation of accounting or financial processes.
• You move with ease in an international environment and have a professional level of English (minimum B2).
• Recognized for your autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills, you like to improve processes, question existing methods, and put technology at the service of the Finance function's performance.
