Do you know the Stibo Systems STEP platform inside out? Within our Business Unit dedicated to MDM and PIM, a true center of excellence resulting from the alliance between Talan and Micropole, we support leaders in Retail, Luxury, Manufacturing, and Distribution in the transformation of their Data ecosystem. As a Tech Lead / Lead Developer STEP Stibo, you will be the technical and architectural referent for our strategic projects, from advanced data modeling to omnichannel publication.
Your daily missions: Core STEP Architecture & Modeling: Design, maintain, and evolve complex data models in STEP (Object Types, Attribute Types, LOVs, Hierarchies, References, Keys) to meet business needs and data governance challenges. Workflows & Business Processes: Design and implement advanced workflows to orchestrate the data lifecycle: product governance, enrichment processes, business validation circuits, translation management, and data quality monitoring. Development & Automation (Java / JavaScript): Develop complex business rules using the native STEP scripting engine (JavaScript and Java Extension API), configure Business Rules (conditions, actions), and optimize bulk processing (Bulk Updates). Web Portals & UI: Configure and customize STEP Workbench and STEP Web UI interfaces to offer an experience adapted to different user profiles: Product Owners, Data Stewards, translators, and business teams. Integration Architecture & Omnichannel: Design and configure inbound and outbound integration interfaces (Inbound & Outbound Integration Endpoints), master exchange formats (STEPXML, JSON, CSV), and manage real-time integrations with the client ecosystem (ERP, DAM, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces) via REST/SOAP API, JMS, or Kafka. Technical Leadership & Delivery: Support the skill development of the team's STEP developers and consultants, disseminate best practices for development and configuration, and contribute to project industrialization thanks to the Component Model. Ensure technical reviews, guarantee the quality of deliverables and the consistency of implemented architectures. Finally, act as the technical referent during architecture workshops and be the primary contact for our clients' technical departments.
What we are looking for in our future Tech Lead: Education: Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, information systems, or Data specialization. PIM/MDM Experience: You have 5 to 8 years of experience in the Data universe (PIM, MDM, Data Quality), including at least 3 to 5 years of significant expertise on the Stibo Systems STEP platform, ideally on recent versions (v11, v12 or higher). Key Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of STEP Workbench, Web UI, and multi-domain modeling. Solid development experience: JavaScript (STEP engine) and Java (Extensions/Plugins STEP API). Excellent knowledge of data formats (XML, JSON) and integration technologies (REST API, Web Services, event buses). Soft Skills: Assertive Tech Lead posture (ability to supervise, mentor, and lead architecture workshops), methodological rigor, strong analytical spirit when facing highly complex catalog structures, and excellent written/oral communication. Languages: Professional English is mandatory (international client contexts or teams). Certifications (A major plus): Holding one or more official Stibo Systems certifications (STEP Core Configuration, STEP Web UI, Workflow, integration).
