You will join Talan's Oracle & SAM practice to work on audit, optimization, and migration missions for Oracle fleets in large enterprise environments. Our clients are large-scale companies facing challenges in rationalizing their Oracle assets and transitioning to the cloud. The position covers the entire cycle: scoping and analysis of the existing fleet, definition of the migration strategy, and then execution of migration waves in collaboration with the client's technical teams.

We are looking for a profile with between 5 to 10 years of experience and at least one significant experience in Oracle database migration within a cloud context, and who masters the following points: Oracle — Administration & Performance (mastery required) Oracle Database 12c / 19c / 21c Administration in critical production environments AWR, ASH, Statspack analysis — autonomous reading and interpretation Knowledge of Oracle options and packs: Partitioning, RAC, Data Guard / ADG, Diagnostics & Tuning Pack, Advanced Compression Detection and deactivation of Oracle options activated without a license (LMS/SAM audit context) Sizing and right-sizing of Oracle instances (CPU, memory, I/O) Azure Cloud and/or OCI (mastery required) Operational experience on Oracle Database on Azure VM (IaaS) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Knowledge of the Oracle BYOL licensing model on Azure Practice of Azure services around the database: PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor Experience in Oracle → Azure migration (lift & shift or re-platforming) is a decisive asset Migration & Re-platforming (a significant plus) Knowledge of Oracle → PostgreSQL patterns: ora2pg, SQL compatibility, data types Practice of replication/migration tools: GoldenGate, DMS, Striim or equivalent Soft skills & transverse Autonomy on broad analysis scopes in a client context Ease in technical reporting and production of deliverables (reports, remediation plans, dashboards) Professional English (reading/writing) #LI-CK1
