Design and develop innovative mechanical systems for life science equipment using CAD software. Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize product performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards. Manage projects from concept to production, respecting deadlines and budget constraints. Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and user manuals. Locate and resolve mechanical problems in existing products. Stay up to date with the latest advances in life science equipment and mechanical engineering technologies. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ISO standards for medical products. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
