Do you love it when individual components turn into a highly complex machine – and do you know exactly what matters in this process? Do you master classical mechanics, have a good sense of precision, and can navigate modern HMIs? In this exciting key role, you will accompany our complex mechanical packaging machines from assembly through commissioning to successful acceptance and installation at our international customers. In doing so, you combine traditional mechanical engineering know-how with modern control technology. You assemble complex, predominantly mechanical packaging machines and their assemblies precisely according to drawings and technical documentation. Furthermore, you assemble mechanical drive systems with bevel gears, intermittent motion gears, and cam discs, set them up, and coordinate their movement sequences exactly with each other. You take over the mechanical commissioning of individual components and complete machines and ensure successful customer acceptance at our premises. In addition, you install our machines at international customers and integrate them into their production processes. During customer visits, you analyze and resolve mechanical and cross-system errors and find practical solutions even under demanding conditions. You move confidently between classical mechanics and modern machine operation, are comfortable with the HMI and laptop, and can understand simple relationships in the control system. Service, maintenance, and modernization assignments are also part of your varied field of activity.
You have completed mechanical training and ideally bring experience in the assembly, setup, and commissioning of machines or systems. Furthermore, you impress with excellent mechanical skills and a strong understanding of classical mechanical engineering technology. You are confident in handling complex drive systems and can set and optimally coordinate machines precisely. In addition, you read and interpret technical drawings as well as documentation confidently and implement them reliably in practice. You approach technical challenges in a structured manner, analyze errors systematically, and find solutions independently. You work independently and flexibly, communicate confidently in English, and enjoy international assignments with a high willingness to travel (approx. 40-60%; duration is usually 1-4 weeks).
