Customer Service Field Engineer - Refrigeration Technician

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician specialized in lyophilization equipment, both laboratory and industrial, to join our Customer Service (CS LSE) area team. The selected person will have a key role in the technical support, maintenance, and commissioning of laboratory and industrial lyophilizers, and will work both at our facilities and at client sites. Main functions Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of laboratory and industrial lyophilizers, both at our own facilities and at client sites. Intervene in complex refrigeration systems associated with lyophilization processes, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigeration and vacuum circuits. Diagnose and resolve refrigeration, mechanical, and electromechanical faults in pharmaceutical process equipment. Participate in SAT, FAT, and upgrade projects for lyophilization equipment. Provide technical support to customers, collaborating closely with the technical Front Desk and other Field Engineers. Prepare and manage service orders, technical reports, and associated documentation, using corporate tools (FSM, SharePoint, among others). Ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health policies, as well as applicable GMP regulations.

Technical training in Industrial Cold / Refrigeration, Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electricity, or similar. Minimum qualification: Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior (CFGS) in Industrial Cold / Refrigeration or equivalent. Official certificate for the handling of fluorinated gases, in accordance with current regulations. Demonstrable experience as a Refrigeration Technician, especially experience acquired in: Pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or process industry. Minimum experience of 2 to 3 years in maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems. Solid knowledge in industrial refrigeration and refrigeration circuits. Experience in handling fluorinated gases in accordance with applicable regulations. Knowledge and experience with screw and piston compressors. Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams. Basic knowledge in automation and PLC (user level). Familiarity with GMP regulations. Experience or knowledge in pharmaceutical process equipment.
