Quality Inspector in the Mechanical Testing Department

For generator production at the Linz location, we are looking for: 1 Quality Inspector in the mechanical testing department. Your area of responsibility:

• Carrying out mechanical tests

• Dimensional inspection of components (length, width, straightness, flatness, roundness)

• Form and symmetry measurements on cylinders and surfaces

• Quality measurements including perpendicularity and inclination testing

• Carrying out thread testing

• Non-destructive testing (VT, PT, MT)

• Testing of welding components

• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9712 Level 2

• Creation of test reports and documentation of deviations

• Support with delivery release notifications

• Taking on additional quality-related tasks

Your qualifications:

• Completed technical apprenticeship or HTL/Werkmeister in mechanical engineering

• Experience in measurement technology or quality assurance

• Knowledge of ISO9712 and non-destructive testing methods (VT, PT, MT, UT)

• Visual testing, magnetic particle and penetrant testing

• Basic knowledge of ultrasonic testing (UT)

• Position, form, and geometric tolerance measurements

• Handling of MS Office

• SAP knowledge

• English skills

• Willingness to work shifts

• Crane license

Your working hours:

• 2-shift operation: 38.5 hours per week.

The statutory minimum salary is € 3,448.15 gross / month; overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and professional experience.
