SAP SD & ABAP Consultant (m/f/d) (Computer Scientist)

You will take on a key role in the support and further development of our SAP S/4HANA landscape. In doing so, you will combine sound process understanding in the sales environment with technical SAP development expertise and actively shape the modernization of existing solutions towards Fiori, CDS, RAP, and modern Output Management. The position offers you a demanding mix of operational responsibility, project work, and technological advancement.

SAP SD & ABAP Consultant (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Support and further development of SAP solutions in the sales (SAP SD), shipping, and billing environment
• Analysis, conception, and implementation of functional requirements together with the specialist departments
• Development and maintenance of customer-specific SAP applications, reports, and enhancements based on ABAP
• Support and further development of form and output solutions, especially invoices, delivery notes, labels, and business documents
• Development and maintenance of customer-specific logic in the output, label, and EDI-related environment
• Support of customizing settings, message control, and technical enhancements in the SAP environment
• Support in SAP S/4HANA projects including custom code adjustments, ATC checks, and technical migrations
• Co-shaping the technological development towards Fiori/UI5, CDS views, OData/Gateway, RAP, and modern ABAP development standards
• Cooperation with external service providers as well as specification, control, and acceptance of external development packages
• Ensuring documentation, quality assurance, code reviews, and sustainable knowledge transfer within the organization

Requirements

• Degree in the field of computer science, business informatics, or comparable training directions with professional experience
• Several years of professional experience as an SAP SD Consultant, SAP ABAP Consultant, SAP Technical Consultant, or in a comparable SAP role
• Good knowledge in the SAP SD environment, especially sales processes, order processing, shipping, billing, and message control
• Sound experience in classic ABAP development, e.g., reports, ALV, includes, user exits, enhancements, and DDIC objects
• Experience in SAP forms, ideally with Smart Forms and/or SAPscript
• Understanding of output and label printing as well as customer-specific requirements in the industrial environment
• Experience with customizing, data models, and existing Z custom developments
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to coordinate technical matters understandably with specialist departments
• Good English language skills
