As the contact person for tax issues within the company, you will provide advice and support to other Straussen and our specialist departments. Complex national tax issues with a focus on income tax, VAT, and wage tax are in the best hands with you -- from assessment to practical implementation. During monthly and annual closings, you ensure that tax items, reconciliation calculations, deferred taxes, and tax accounting topics are correctly and cleanly represented. You routinely accompany the preparation and quality assurance of tax returns, tax and special balance sheets, as well as other special topics, and also manage internal and external audits. You also actively contribute to tax processes, systems, and guidelines and further develop existing structures. Exciting projects offer you the space to take on responsibility and actively help shape topics at Strauss.

YOUR INGREDIENTS:

For you, taxes are much more than numbers and paragraphs -- you want to shape things with your know-how, take responsibility, and truly make a difference. You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on taxes and have passed your Steuerberater exam or bring a comparable qualification, such as Steuerfachwirt or Bilanzbuchhalter with relevant professional experience and appropriate further training. You also communicate confidently in spoken and written English. You are familiar with ERP systems, ideally having already gained experience with Microsoft Dynamics. An analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and a good sense of connections are among your strengths. Team spirit, initiative, and a hands-on mentality round off your profile.
