Within our Product Engineering Department, we are recruiting a Configuration Management Unit Manager. You are responsible for controlling the configuration of parts, products, and systems throughout their entire life cycle. You lead a dedicated team and actively contribute to the performance, compliance, and traceability of technical data. You also ensure functional management with representatives from other company departments. You have both a systemic and a very operational approach to configuration management activities to contribute to the performance of our activities.
The main missions are: Ensure the steering and animation of the Configuration Management Unit. This unit is composed of permanent members and contributors from other departments. Define, deploy, and evolve procedures and workflows for configuration management activities. Guarantee the integrity, consistency, completeness, and traceability of technical data. Review and validate Configuration Management Plans. Collaborate closely with the Technical, Production, Purchasing, Programs, and Quality departments. Ensure compliance with internal frameworks and regulatory requirements.
With higher education in engineering, technical data management, or equivalent, you have: experience in an industrial environment, in the field of configuration management for a minimum of 10 years, a first successful experience in team management, good mastery of ERP and PLM tools, good knowledge of norms and standards (type ISO, EN, …). You are autonomous and rigorous with a strong capacity for organization. You have listening skills, a taste for teamwork, and good interpersonal skills. Good synthesis skills, both written and oral, are furthermore indispensable qualities. A first experience in change management is a plus. Knowledge of the ERP IFS is a plus. English at an advanced C1 level is required.
