Being a DevSecOps architect within SPHEREA means supporting the SPHEREA group teams in embedded software development and the evolution of the technical means of its platforms. As an architect, you will work on varied technological projects by developing the core code of our human-sized products. Your mission will consist of developing embedded solutions to meet the various needs of the SPHEREA group regarding software development, integration, and production. Your good understanding of maintenance and your knowledge of embedded systems will allow you to investigate problems and propose relevant solutions. You will have a global visibility of the strategy and purpose of your activities and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team combining system, electronic, and software design. Job Profile: Analyze functional, non-functional, normative, and associated standards requirements; Perform the development of embedded systems software based on this analysis and in accordance with defined architecture principles; Integrate and validate software evolutions; Unit test software components; Maintenance and supervision of embedded platforms; Produce acceptance test specifications ensuring that needs have been taken into account; Establish associated technical documents; Analyze and process technical facts; Operate constant technological monitoring.
With an Engineering degree | Master's degree or similar, you have at least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps applied to Linux embedded systems, with expertise in The Yocto Project / OpenEmbedded, cybersecurity, and industrial environments; You demonstrate interpersonal skills, transparency, a taste for teamwork, as well as autonomy. Skills: You master embedded and standard Linux environments; You are comfortable with low-level Linux mechanisms (kernel, drivers, bootloader, administration, …); You have significant experience with embedded Linux distributions based on The Yocto Project / OpenEmbedded and associated software build chains; You are comfortable with development practices (Agile, V-model); You master configuration management tools and continuous integration and deployment processes (Git, GitLab CI/CD, Docker); You are comfortable with the automation of development and validation environments via Bash, Python, or equivalent scripts; You master software programming languages such as C, C++, and/or Rust; You have solid knowledge of embedded systems cybersecurity: Linux hardening, vulnerability analysis, Secure Boot, software dependency management, SBOM, software supply chain security, and regulatory compliance; Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks applicable to industrial, aeronautical, or critical systems would be a plus; SPHEREA's international evolution requires an advanced level (C1) in English.
