You will join Sopra Steria within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you may evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in Managed Services type provisions or you may be directly integrated into client teams. You will be supported by a dynamic team that will make you actively participate in the project as a whole.

Your role and missions: As a DBA / Database Engineer, you will bring your expertise to the realization of the following missions:

• You carry out the study and implementation of DBMS evolution projects;
• You ensure technical assistance for new projects;
• You take charge of complex incidents (level 3);
• You write and maintain technical documentation;
• You are the guarantor of obsolescence management within the DBMS scope;
• You analyze and process Information System requests (consulting, expertise, recommendation of best practices);
• You support and advise development teams on deployments and best practices related to databases.

Qualifications

A graduate with a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 7 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Your English level is operational.

You have experience in multi-DBMS administration (Oracle and SQL Server; MySQL and PostgreSQL being a plus).

You possess strong multi-platform automation skills (PowerShell and Linux scripting), as well as good knowledge of Elasticsearch.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic.

You also have a good sense of service and client relations.
