About the role

At STMicroelectronics, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the well-known STM32 platform and be part of an international development team creating the technology behind the connected products of the future.

As a Software Developer, you will become part of the Framework team where you will develop and further develop the tools and frameworks that form the foundation for many of the company's development environments. You will work in close collaboration with experienced developers, architects, and product teams in an international environment.

Your main tasks are to:

Develop and further develop tools and frameworks for STM32 users

Work with modern software development in TypeScript and Rust.

Participate in agile workflows with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.

Take ownership of your own development tasks and contribute to the team's deliveries.

Participate in and contribute to open source projects used in the development environment.

Help develop solutions that support the STM32 ecosystem and its users globally.

We are looking for you who

We believe you have a university or master's degree in engineering in, for example, computer engineering, software development, or a corresponding field. You have a few years of experience in software development and want to continue developing in a technically advanced environment.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

Experience in software development

Knowledge of TypeScript or similar modern languages

Interest in or experience with Rust

Experience with agile development methods.

Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you also have:

Experience in embedded development or system-level programming

Knowledge of Linux

Experience with open source projects
