We are looking for an occupational safety professional for industrial construction in the Southeast Finland region.

The position is located within our Southern Finland commercial construction unit. In addition to data centers, we build, for example, industrial sites, commercial premises, schools, hospitals, and renovation construction projects.

Our recent projects include, for example, the Koskela tram depot in Helsinki, a renovation project in Helsinki Meilahti, several data centers, and the Firdo office building in Pasila.

Your role as our occupational safety specialist

You will be responsible for the quality of occupational safety planning at your assigned construction site with a solution-oriented and collaborative approach, in cooperation with another occupational safety specialist. You will monitor and guide that the planned safety measures are implemented according to the objectives. With your excellent interpersonal skills, you will ensure that identified deficiencies are corrected. You will measure, observe, and document the state of occupational safety and report on the implementation in accordance with Skanska's operating model and the client's requirements.

You will guide the construction site toward safe, healthy, and environmentally efficient operations and participate in proactive work to prevent accidents and environmental damage.

You will participate in managing construction site routines as part of the construction site organization.
