Do you have a strategic outlook, real planning capacity, and experience leading commercial and technical teams before demanding corporate clients? We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead business development in Chile and Peru, within a leading multinational company in its industry. About the search A multinational company, leader in its industry and with a strong presence in large-scale mining and other process industries (cement, aggregates, energy), seeks to incorporate a Commercial Manager to lead commercial development in Chile and Peru. Job Mission Lead the company's commercial strategy and development for Chile and Peru, defining annual planning, the business model, and commercial proposals for large-scale industrial clients. You will be responsible for translating strategy into action alongside your team, leading bidding processes, and building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders —from the general management of large companies to plant operators—, ensuring sustained growth and profitability of the business in both countries. Main responsibilities

  • Define the annual commercial planning, objectives, and the business model for the portfolio in Chile and Peru.
  • Design, present, and negotiate commercial proposals, including active participation in bidding processes with corporate clients.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with internal stakeholders (local team, headquarters) and external stakeholders, from general management to plant operators.
  • Regularly visit client facilities, identifying needs and detecting opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Directly lead and develop a commercial and technical team in Chile, and functionally coordinate the commercial team in Peru.
  • Manage commercial reporting through ERP/CRM platforms, ensuring traceability and management control.
  • Present results, proposals, and strategic planning in English to the international headquarters and other global instances.
  • Act with autonomy and execution capacity within a multinational corporate structure.

Requirements

  • Degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial, Civil Química, Comercial, de Minas, or Mecánica.
  • Consolidated commercial experience, ideally from large-scale mining or other related process industries (cement, aggregates, energy).
  • Experience leading commercial and technical teams simultaneously, and participating in bidding processes with corporate clients.
  • Bilingual English (mandatory): constant professional use and presentations to the international headquarters.
  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM platforms for commercial management and reporting.
  • Availability to travel frequently within Chile, to Peru, and occasionally internationally.

Valued

  • Previous experience in multinational companies, due to the culture and dynamics specific to these types of organizations.
  • Strategic vision and planning capacity, with a focus on translating strategy into concrete action with the team.
  • Ability to generate bonds at all organizational levels, with a close and empathetic style.
  • High adaptability, conflict management, and ability to build long-term relationships of trust.
  • Mobilizing and analytical profile, with ductility to adopt new technologies.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the processes inherent to a large multinational corporate structure, without losing execution capacity before the client.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and emotional stability to sustain the work pace without constant supervision.
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility (revenue, costs, and investments), not just commercial/sales management.
  • Track record leading corporate bidding processes with top-tier clients, through to award.
  • Experience designing or strengthening corporate governance processes and strategic planning in high-growth organizations.
  • Experience leading large-scale multidisciplinary teams in operations with distributed geographic presence.
