Mechatronics Engineer for System Integration in Mobile Robots M/F

Scope of responsibilities:

We are looking for a mechatronics engineer to join a team implementing R&D projects in the field of autonomous mobile robots and vehicles. The employed person will be responsible for the hardware layer of robots, from drive-by-wire systems, through the assembly and integration of sensors and actuators, to the commissioning of complete mobile platforms in cooperation with the software development team.

Scope of responsibilities:

• integration of mechatronic systems in vehicles and mobile robots,
• construction, commissioning, and tuning of drive-by-wire systems (drive, brakes, steering control),
• assembly, calibration, and integration of sensors (Lidar, radar, cameras, GNSS/IMU, encoders) and actuators (motors, servomotors, actuators),
• designing and executing electrical installations and wiring on mobile platforms (power supply, communication buses, connectors),
• integration of hardware with control software in cooperation with the software development team (CAN, Ethernet, serial interfaces communication),
• diagnostics, servicing, and modifications of robot designs,
• preparing platforms for tests and participating in field tests of robots,
• creating technical documentation (electrical diagrams, assembly and integration documentation),
• participation in the implementation of R&D projects.

Requirements:

• education: higher (including bachelor's degree), type: technical - mandatory
• foreign languages: English - speaking: B2 - upper intermediate, writing: B2 - upper intermediate - mandatory
• other professions: Mechatronics Engineer, experience: 1 year - mandatory

• higher technical education (Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics or related),
• experience in the integration of mechatronic systems in vehicles, mobile robots or machines,
• 1 year of professional experience,
