For our client, a large manufacturing group in the Überlingen area, we are looking for a Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d) in full-time with a 35-hour week. The position is initially to be filled within the framework of temporary employment for a limited period of 1.5 years and offers the option of permanent employment if suitable. Tasks

• Maintenance and supplementation of new as well as additional master data fields in purchasing with a focus on risk management and classification of suppliers
• Support in the examination of offers and order confirmations, including structured filing and audit-proof documentation
• Updating of delivery dates in the system and participation in dunning processes towards suppliers
• Review and adjustment of planned delivery times as well as assignment and maintenance of product groups in the purchasing system
• Control and updating of certificates, non-disclosure agreements, Supplier Code of Conduct, and self-disclosures from suppliers
• Obtaining and managing long-term supplier declarations, certificates of origin, and customs-relevant master data sheets for export control
• Maintenance and updating of safety data sheets and hazardous substance information, as well as creation of precise shipping instructions

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training, for example as Industriekaufmann (m/f/d), Kaufmann (m/f/d) for office communication, or a degree in business administration
• Initial practical experience in operational purchasing or in similarly structured clerical work is an advantage
• Good knowledge of ERP systems with a focus on SAP Modul MM, as well as routine handling of MS-Office and especially Excel
• Confident communication in German and good English skills in speaking and writing for cooperation with international partners
• Strong teamwork skills, structured way of working, and high accuracy in maintaining sensitive master data
• High service orientation in contact with internal departments and external suppliers, as well as willingness to take responsibility for deadlines and time limits
• Assertiveness in supplier communication combined with a solution-oriented and goal-directed way of working
