Daily tasks

• development of a modern IoT platform enabling remote management of smart access control devices,
• designing and implementing backend services in Java,
• integration of AWS cloud components and services,
• creating and developing AWS Lambda functions in Go,
• development of solutions based on serverless and event-driven architecture,
• processing data from IoT devices and developing mechanisms for sharing it for reporting, monitoring, and failure prediction purposes,
• participating in designing the platform architecture with a particular focus on security, performance, and scalability,
• preparing and developing end-to-end (E2E) tests,
• conducting code reviews and ensuring the quality of solutions,
• collaborating on the development and maintenance of CI/CD processes,
• collaborating with an international R&D team using the Scrum methodology,
• analyzing technical requirements and consulting with project stakeholders, also in an international environment,
• participating in the development of new technological solutions and improving the platform architecture,
• service delivery model: remotely, with visits to the office in Business Park Zabierzów once a month,
• project budget: up to 160 PLN/h + VAT, depending on experience and the scope of services provided.

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

experience in designing and developing backend software in Java (min. 5 years of experience),

practical experience with AWS cloud services and integration of cloud components,

knowledge of AWS Lambda and readiness to develop serverless functions in Go,

knowledge of serverless architecture, cloud solutions, and the event-driven approach,

experience in building and maintaining CI/CD processes,

experience in projects implemented using the Scrum methodology,

knowledge of relational or non-relational databases ( SQL / NoSQL ),

experience in creating automated tests, including E2E, and conducting code reviews,

knowledge of issues related to the security and scalability of backend solutions,

very good command of English in speaking and writing, enabling free cooperation with an international team,

openness to new technologies and readiness to develop competencies in an R&D environment.

Nice to have:

experience in frontend application development, especially using React,

experience in IoT projects and processing large volumes of data,

practical experience in programming in Go.
