Slope and Trail Maintenance Worker

The ski season in Saariselkä begins at the end of November and lasts until May. The field of activity, work environment, and work community are international, communal & development-oriented. The family business Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort includes slope operations, a rental shop, restaurant Lieggâ Láávu, and a ski school. Now we are looking for new members for our team!

As a slope, trail, and lift maintenance worker, your duties will mainly include the maintenance of slopes, trails, lifts, and equipment. You will also participate in snowmaking tasks. Working hours are basically outside the ski resort's opening hours, i.e., in the evening, at night, or early in the morning. In this role, you take care of the cornerstones of skiing: the slopes and the lifts, so the job is particularly suitable for a passionate enthusiast of the ski resort industry.

We expect from you:

• English language skills
• Experience in machine maintenance and driving
• Solution-oriented mindset & desire to develop

Other experience and education (language skills, technical education, supervisory experience) will be considered an advantage. It is possible to tailor job duties according to your skills and interests to other tasks within the resort.
