With plant technology, we are responsible for all buildings for research, diagnostics production, and the site itself. With the BusinessX units, we design and operate processes, systems, and entrepreneurial duties in operations. We offer our customers innovative solutions and services in close cooperation with the technical units at the site. Together, we ensure efficient production and plant operation and, together with the Technical Business Partners, we bear responsibility for sustainable asset management.

What to expect

  • You will work closely with operators and site functions
  • You will support the assurance of functionality, demand-oriented availability, and the economical, energy-efficient operation of production and utility plants
  • Independent planning, commissioning, coordination, and acceptance of maintenance and conversion measures
  • Independent execution of plant-specific engineering services and taking on (partial) project management responsibility for investment measures
  • Cost planning and control of technical services
  • Error monitoring and root cause analysis, energy monitoring of production and building technology plants, and development of optimization concepts
  • Technical evaluation of plants for life-cycle planning
  • Compliance with requirements regarding plant safety, environmental protection, occupational safety, and quality assurance
  • Support of buildings and their building technology plants, as well as process auxiliary plants and laboratory and pilot plant equipment
  • Ensuring up-to-date documentation for plants and buildings
  • Within the framework of your delegated responsibility, you ensure that the technical plants correspond to the state of the art and that risks are minimized through analyses and measures (technical tests e.g., ATEX, SIL, etc.) and that plant quality is optimized.

What you bring with you

  • You have successfully completed a degree (Master, Bachelor) in a technical field such as Chemical Process Engineering, Utility Engineering, Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. Alternatively, you have technical training with further training as a technician and corresponding professional experience.
  • Professional experience in one of the above-mentioned fields would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of buildings and building technology plants and their operation would be desirable, as well as additional practical and professional experience in the areas of Automation, Process Engineering, or Facility Management
  • You have good knowledge of maintenance strategies, GxP, and project management tools
  • You understand complex issues and know how to arrive at a solution-oriented result in a structured manner
  • You are characterized by an independent and proactive way of working, a high degree of commitment, and a willingness to participate in work-related further training measures
  • In working with a wide variety of contact persons at various hierarchical levels, you use your very good communication skills and confident appearance
  • You attach great importance to teamwork
  • You feel confident in using MS Office and SAP applications
  • You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international clients in person, via phone or Email.
