Senior Analog-/Mixed-Signal-IC-Designer:in Automotive (m/w/d) (w/m/div.) (Business Administrator - Market Research)
Job Title: Senior Analog-/Mixed-Signal-IC-Designer:in Automotive (m/w/d) (w/m/div.)
Job Description: Are you motivated by the challenge of shaping the future of automotive technology with pioneering microelectronics? Does it excite you to translate complex concepts into high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits that enable the next generation of electrification and smart power solutions? Then become part of our team and take on a key role as an architect of innovative ASICs – with a direct influence on the performance and reliability of tomorrow's vehicles.
In this position, you will design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits for complex automotive ASICs, particularly for applications in the fields of electrification and smart power. You will be responsible for the entire development process – from specification and architecture definition through implementation, verification, and characterization to product release. You will analyze and optimize analog architectures with regard to performance, robustness, quality, cost, and manufacturability, ensuring first-class results. Furthermore, you will take on technical leadership for critical circuit blocks and actively contribute to decisions regarding system and product architecture.
In close cooperation with layout, verification, test, product engineering, and application teams, you will ensure a successful first-pass silicon run and support ASIC qualification as well as problem-solving throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate design risks regarding functionality, reliability, EMC, and ESD robustness. At the same time, you will coach junior engineers technically and actively promote knowledge exchange and the development of best practices.
Finally, you will work with international development teams, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, making an active contribution to innovation activities, methodology improvements, and the shaping of future semiconductor technologies for the automotive industry.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed university degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, or a comparable course of study
- Experience and knowledge: Several years of demonstrable experience in analog or mixed-signal ASIC design for automotive or industrial applications; profound expertise in the design and verification of analog functional blocks such as LDOs, buck-boost converters, gate driver circuits (MOSFET, SiC, GaN), valve drivers, current and voltage references, as well as protection and monitoring circuits; sound understanding of semiconductor devices, analog IC design, and system contexts; extensive experience with Cadence Virtuoso and analog/mixed-signal design flows; strong skills in laboratory characterization, debugging, and failure analysis; experience in behavioral modeling (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, or comparable); good understanding of ESD, EMC, reliability, and automotive quality requirements; experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes is a great advantage; knowledge of electrified and automated driving applications is an advantage
- Personality and working style: You work effectively in a team and communicate complex technical content clearly and understandably; you enjoy taking responsibility and driving critical developments independently; your working style is structured and result-oriented, and you approach tasks proactively; you analyze complex problems precisely, find effective solutions, and implement them successfully in interdisciplinary teams
- Languages: Business fluent English in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage
- Application deadline: Up to and including August 26, 2026
- Remuneration: According to our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least 88,000 EUR for a 35-hour week (for year-round employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements according to the collective agreement) upon full fulfillment of the job requirements. Additionally, there is individual, performance-related remuneration, a bonus depending on company success, and employer benefits towards the Bosch pension fund. We will be happy to discuss further details regarding our remuneration package as well as (remuneration) development opportunities with you during the application process.
