Cybersecurity Engineer

Work area: Atizapán de Zaragoza, Zona Esmeralda / Projects Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Availability to travel, occasionally.

Position Objective

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with experience in the implementation and support of security solutions, who will participate in technological projects, equipment configuration, and the handling of requirements related to infrastructure and information security.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implementation and configuration of security equipment and solutions.
  • Monitoring and handling of security-related tickets.
  • Implementation and administration of SIEM, Firewall, WAF, and NAC solutions.
  • Configuration and support of DNS, DHCP, and VPN services.
  • Administration and configuration of Firewalls and VPN.
  • Configuration of switching and routing infrastructure.
  • Application of information security best practices.
  • Participation in security implementations and projects.
  • Support and follow-up after implementations.
  • Preparation of technical documentation related to the projects performed.

Requirements

Education:

Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Telecommunications, Systems, Information Technologies, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Having a degree is indispensable.

Experience:

3 years in positions related to infrastructure, networks, or cybersecurity. Intermediate English.

Technical Knowledge

Experience or knowledge in the following is indispensable:

  • Firewalls.
  • VPN.
  • NAC (Network Access Control).
  • Information security.
  • Switching and routing.
  • Security best practices.
  • Juniper / Junos technologies.
  • SIEM.
  • WAF.
  • DNS and DHCP.

· Desirable Certifications

Having any of the following certifications or knowledge will be considered a plus:

  • Cisco CCNA / CCNA Security.
  • CompTIA Security+.
  • CISM.
  • Juniper.
  • Fortinet.
  • WatchGuard.
