Your Missions

Within a Part 21J approved environment, you will take charge of certification activities related to cabin modification projects on different types of aircraft (CS-23, CS-25, CS-27, and CS-29). Concretely, you will be the person who asks the following question as soon as a modification is envisioned:

"What are the applicable requirements and how can we demonstrate that this modification is compliant?"

To answer this, you:

  • analyze the regulatory impacts of the studied modifications;
  • define the certification strategy;
  • identify the necessary compliance demonstrations;
  • coordinate the required calculations, analyses, and tests;
  • build the justification files;
  • support projects until their approval.

You will work daily with the mechanical design, electrical design, airworthiness, and project management teams.

Depending on the subject matter, you may also intervene in exchanges with certification authorities.

With a higher education background in aeronautics or engineering, you have proven experience in aeronautical certification, airworthiness, or regulatory engineering.

Ideally, you master:

  • Certification and compliance demonstration processes.
  • Airworthiness principles.
  • Issues related to Cabin Safety.
