Equipment Technology Engineer (Kofu)

【Background of Recruitment】 We are promoting the development and improvement of automation equipment common to all our sites, as well as automation development and implementation for new PKG/new lines. We are currently facing a shortage of engineers who can drive the development and improvement of automation equipment and manufacturing equipment, provide guidance to equipment engineers at domestic and overseas production sites, and promote technical development with equipment manufacturers; therefore, expanding our team of equipment engineers is an urgent priority.

In this development role, we expect an increase in initiatives aimed at labor-saving, such as the automation of tasks and inspections, to compensate for an aging workforce and labor shortages.

Therefore, we are recruiting engineers who have experience in equipment development, automation, or labor-saving, or those who are interested in such work.

【Job Description】  (1) Automated transport of production equipment

 (2) System development accompanying automated transport

 (3) Process development to replace product inspection

※Includes presence at manufacturers and business trips to production sites (domestic and overseas) for startup support.

※Target products: General semiconductor products (Automotive, Consumer, Power Devices) ※Assigned technical field: Semiconductor front-end automation equipment/system technology

※The scope of changes to the workplace and the scope of changes to the duties to be performed will be explained in detail during the selection process.

【MUST】 ・Those with the following experience: (1) Task/process analysis (automation consideration)

(2) AMR introduction, startup, and maintenance

(3) Robot arm introduction, startup, and maintenance ・English skill: Beginner level (reading and writing or higher) ・Japanese skill: Business conversation or higher

【WANT】 ・Those with process line design experience

・Those with AMR/robot arm design and development experience

・Those with knowledge or experience in machine languages such as PLC/C language/PYTHON
