Sommelier – Largo do Paço Restaurant ⭐ Michelin
We are looking for a Sommelier with a passion for wine, refined gastronomic culture, and a vocation for creating complete and memorable sensory experiences for our guests.
Main responsibilities:
• Management, curation, and updating of the wine list
• Personalized advice and pairings with tasting menus
• Management of wine stock, cellar, and inventory
• Participation in tastings, selection of new producers.
• Training and awareness of the service team regarding wine culture
• Ensuring excellence in service aligned with Relais & Châteaux and Michelin standards
Profile we are looking for:
• Training in Sommellerie (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent, preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hospitality
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese wines, with special appreciation for Douro, Minho, and other national regions
• Proficiency in English; other languages are valued
• Excellent communication skills, elegance in service, and team spirit
• Intellectual curiosity, rigor, and genuine passion for the world of wine
