Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

in indirect procurement to start as soon as possible. The position is initially to be filled on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) within the framework of "Test & Hire." Long-term permanent employment is intended.

Your Tasks

• You develop long-term procurement strategies together with the purchasing department and implement them successfully
• You are responsible for the entire tendering process, from requirement determination through offer evaluation to contract conclusion
• You monitor international procurement markets, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and derive appropriate measures
• You maintain existing supplier partnerships, build new contacts, and ensure sustainable cooperation
• You work cross-functionally with internal contact persons and drive the digitalization as well as the further development of procurement processes using SAP and eProcurement solutions

What You Bring

• A completed degree or a commercial or technical vocational training with professional experience in strategic procurement
• Experience in tenders, contract and price negotiations, as well as in supplier management
• Good knowledge of contract law and confident handling of SAP and MS Office
• Business fluent English skills and a willingness to undertake occasional business trips
• An independent way of working, negotiation skills, and strong communication skills, with which you convince as a Category Manager or experienced purchasing manager
