Hub Manager
In a nutshell
Are you a true leader who makes a team go through fire and knows how to perform under pressure? Do you have experience in logistics and can you keep a cool head with daily deadlines? Then we are looking for you! As Hub Manager, you are responsible for starting the engine of one of our Hubs in the Netherlands. In doing so, you lead a team of 30 to 200 Runners and ensure that the delivery process runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
The art of the craft
Team management: You coach, motivate, and manage about 20-25 delivery drivers on a daily basis (from a total pool of 30 - 150 drivers), together with 5 - 10 team leaders.
Process owner: You are responsible for the entire process, from the receipt of groceries to the perfect delivery to the customer.
Planning and scheduling: You ensure that the planning and schedule are created.
Contact person: You are the contact person for runners and team leaders regarding all kinds of questions, such as: salary, leave, schedules, contracts, etc.
KPI improvements: You work on projects to improve Hub KPIs.
Stakeholder management: You ensure smooth cooperation between the Hub and central Picnic teams.
Operational improvements: You spot ideas to improve the delivery operation, enable extra growth, increase efficiency, enhance safety, or otherwise help customers better.
About you
You have 0 to 3 years of relevant leadership work experience.
MBO or HBO thinking level (Supply Chain background is a plus).
You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
You are available full-time.
You possess a driving license B.
You are an organizational talent and have experience working with service KPIs.
You possess project-based insight and the strength to implement changes.
You know how to combine operational data with a practical approach on the work floor.
You are hungry for new challenges and do not let yourself be knocked off course by the first setback.
You are a team player and an autonomous and authentic coach, and possess a great sense of responsibility.
You are service-oriented, know how to get people on board through your enthusiasm, and think in solutions.
