Cargo Dispatcher – Pudahuel Airport

An important multinational company in the airport industry is looking for Full Time Cargo Dispatchers to work in the Airport Sector, Pudahuel commune.

The selected person will be responsible for supporting and executing various activities related to the reception, preparation, tracking, and dispatch of cargo, ensuring compliance with the procedures established by the company and the various airlines.

Main functions

• Verify on-site and report the status of the elements necessary for the import or dispatch of cargo, in accordance with established procedures.
• Receive, register, and distribute cargo into the corresponding elements.
• Prepare documentation related to the cargo and provide information to clients.
• Comply with internal and each airline's procedures before, during, and after the closing of each flight.
• Enter information into the different systems used by the company and the airlines, ensuring correct and reliable records.
• Track the different stages of the operation, including reception, boarding, manifest, and flight departure.
• Timely report any situation that does not comply with the established safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Completed High School or professional technical training.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a warehouse operator.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
• Basic - Intermediate English.
• Availability to work in 100% rotating shifts.
• Availability to undergo the corresponding selection process.
• Current documentation and necessary authorization to work in airport facilities.

Conditions

• 44-hour work week.
• 5x2 shift system, from Monday to Sunday.
• Rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night).
• Direct contract with the company.
• Fixed-term contract with the subsequent possibility of an indefinite contract.
