VULNERABILITY SECURITY EXPERT

Job Description / Functions We are looking for a Vulnerability Management Security Expert to join an international project for the deployment and operation of a Vulnerability Management program across different entities and datacenters. The selected person will participate in the identification, analysis, prioritization, and monitoring of vulnerabilities, collaborating closely with IT teams and other technical teams to improve coverage and the security level of the different environments. The project primarily uses Qualys Vulnerability Management, so previous experience with Qualys will be especially valued. However, we will also consider profiles with solid experience in Vulnerability Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Research, Penetration Testing, or Security Engineering and experience with other vulnerability management tools.

What will your mission be?

You will be part of an international team responsible for deploying, operating, and improving the Vulnerability Management program, ensuring adequate asset coverage, analysis of identified vulnerabilities, and monitoring of remediation actions.

 Main responsibilities Participate in the deployment and operation of the Vulnerability Management program. Deploy, configure, and monitor Vulnerability Management solutions in different entities and datacenters. Monitor and improve the coverage of servers and other assets within the program. Identify coverage gaps and collaborate with IT teams for their resolution. Analyze and validate the results of vulnerability analyses. Prioritize and contextualize vulnerabilities according to their criticality, exposure, and risk. Collaborate with technical teams in the definition and monitoring of remediation actions. Present results and conclusions to local IT teams and other stakeholders. Document procedures, deployment activities, analysis, results, and evidence. Perform functional tests and unit testing, documenting the corresponding evidence. Provide support in the resolution and monitoring of incidents and cases related to Vulnerability Management. Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and security reporting. Collaborate with international teams and different technical areas during the deployment and operation of the program.

Minimum requirements We are looking for demonstrable experience in several of the following areas: Vulnerability Management and/or Vulnerability Assessment. Analysis, validation, and prioritization of vulnerabilities. Monitoring of vulnerabilities and remediation actions. Experience with Vulnerability Management tools, such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or other equivalent solutions. Preparation of reports and technical documentation. Analysis of security results and presentation of conclusions to different stakeholders. Coordination and collaboration with technical/IT teams. Experience participating in cybersecurity projects. Ability to work in a structured manner and monitor activities and deliverables. Sufficient level of English to work in an international environment.

Communication skills with technical and non-technical teams. Orientation towards documentation, monitoring, and compliance with deliverables.
