AI Platform Engineer – DevEx & Design Systems

Your tasks

We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer specialized in AI tools and infrastructure development to empower and transform the use of our Design System.

In this role, you will not be responsible for UI component layout or designing graphic interfaces. Your main mission will be to design the architecture, servers, and AI workflows (using the MCP protocol) that allow our development teams to consume, understand, and integrate the Design System in a faster, smarter, and more automated way.

You will work at the intersection of backend software engineering (Node.js / TypeScript) and large language model integration (LLMs, agents, and AI-assisted development).

• AI Infrastructure and MCP: Design, build, and maintain servers and integrations under the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect our Design System resources with code assistants and AI agents.
• Developer Experience (DevEx) Tools: Package AI capabilities into modular, reusable, and well-documented tools that improve team productivity.
• Agentic Workflows and Instructions: Develop structured prompts, instructions for code agents, and automated workflows for common development tasks.
• AI Ecosystem: Establish best practices for AI adoption, context control, governance, and security for LLM-generated code.
• Documentation and Enablement: Create guides, templates, and technical examples that facilitate the adoption of these internal solutions by other engineers.

Requirements

Minimum requirements

• Solid Software Engineering Foundation: Proven experience building APIs, business logic, and maintainable software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol): Real development or integration of MCP servers, tools, or clients.
• Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript in Backend (Node.js): Ability to program AI logic and integrations in the standard language of our web ecosystem.
• AI Workflows and Agents: Experience integrating LLM APIs, tool calling, context management, and structured instructions for programming assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
• Technical Packaging Capability: Ability to convert complex solutions into internal tools that are easy for other developers to adopt.

Valued requirements

• Familiarity with the structure and consumption of Design Systems, UI component libraries (React, etc.), and technical documentation.
• Creation of CLI tools, internal automations, or developer platforms.
• Experience in automated testing and quality/accuracy evaluation for AI responses.
