ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHER
COMPETITION for the employment of a person to perform the duties of an English language teacher
NUMBER OF PERSONS SOUGHT: one (1) English language teacher, part-time, 20 hours per week

TYPE OF CONTRACT: fixed-term employment contract
CONDITIONS:
Candidates, in addition to the general condition for establishing an employment relationship in accordance with general labor regulations, must also meet the special conditions for establishing an employment relationship in accordance with Article 105 of the Zakon o odgoju i obrazovanju u osnovnoj i srednjoj školi (NN 87/08, 86/09, 92/10, 105/10, 90/11, 5/12, 16/12, 86/12, 126/12, 94/13, 152/14, 07/17, 68/18, 98/19, 64/20, 151/22, 155/23, 156/23) and the provisions of the Pravilnik o odgovarajućoj vrsti obrazovanja učitelja i stručnih suradnika u osnovnoj školi (NN 6/19, 75/20).
APPLICATION TO THE COMPETITION
Along with a hand-signed application, candidates are required to attach:
- a hand-signed CV
- a copy of proof of the level and type of professional qualification,
- an original certificate or electronic record from the Hrvatski zavod za mirovinsko osiguranje not older than the day of the publication of the competition and
- a certificate that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against them regarding obstacles to establishing an employment relationship from Article 106 of the Zakon o odgoju i obrazovanju u osnovnoj i srednjoj školi (NN 87/08, 86/09, 92/10, 105/10, 90/11, 5/12, 16/12, 86/12, 126/12, 94/13, 152/14, 07/17, 68/18, 98/19, 64/20, 151/22, 155/23, 156/23) not older than the day of the publication of the competition
Persons of both sexes may apply to the competition in accordance with Article 13 of the Zakon o ravnopravnosti spolova.
If a candidate applying to the competition exercises the right of priority in employment according to a special regulation, they are obliged to refer to that right in their application and attach all evidence of exercising the right of priority.
A person who refers to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 102 of the Zakon o hrvatskim braniteljima iz Domovinskog rata i članovima njihovih obitelji („Narodne Novine“, br. 121/17., 98/19., 84/21., 156/23.), Article 48, paragraphs 1-3 of the Zakon o civilnim stradalnicima iz Domovinskog rata („Narodne novine“, br: 84/21), Article 48.f of the Zakon o zaštiti vojnih i civilnih invalida rata („Narodne Novine, br. 33/92., 57/92., 77/92., 27/93., 58/93., 02/94., 76/94., 108/95., 108/96., 82/01., 103/03., 148/13. i 98/19.) and Article 9 of the Zakon o profesionalnoj rehabilitaciji i zapošljavanju osoba s invaliditetom („Narodne Novine“, br. 157/13., 152/14., 39/18. i 32/20.) is obliged in the application for the public competition to refer to that right and, along with the application, attach the prescribed documentation according to the special law and has priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.

Before making a decision on selection, a preliminary interview with the applicants may be organized, about which candidates will be notified by telephone.
In the application, it is mandatory to state the residential address, mobile contact number, and email address.
In accordance with the Pravilnik o načinu i postupku zapošljavanja u Osnovnoj školi Vladimira Nazora, which was published on the school's website on April 3, 2019 (http://os-vnazora-daruvar.skole.hr/skola/ploca), an evaluation of the candidates will be carried out by the Selection Committee, which consists of an assessment of the submitted documentation, a review of the CV, and an interview with the candidate.
By applying to the competition and submitting documentation, each candidate gives consent for the processing of personal data for the purpose of conducting the competition procedure and establishing an employment relationship.
The application deadline is eight (8) days from the day of the publication of the competition.

Applications to the competition with evidence of fulfilling the conditions are to be submitted to the school's address: Osnovne škole Vladimira Nazora, Daruvar, Gajeva 24, with the notation "ZA NATJEČAJ ZA UČITELJA/UČITELJICU ENGLESKOG JEZIKA".
Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
