OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• determining and prescribing regulations, instructions and procedures, safety and protective measures, as well as monitoring and supervising their implementation and effectiveness,
• organizing and conducting seminars for the training of workers, employers and authorized persons for safe work, checking their knowledge and skills in occupational safety,
• proposing technical protection, prescribing and determining the use of appropriate personal protective equipment,
• organizing the placement of warning instructions regarding prohibitions, dangers and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (protective clothing, footwear, etc.),
• collecting and analyzing data regarding accidents, occupational injuries, occupational diseases and work-related illnesses, as well as preparing prescribed reports of occupational injuries and occupational diseases and preparing reports for the employer's needs,
• cooperation with bodies competent for labor inspection affairs, with the Institute competent for health protection and safety at work, the Institute for the Improvement of Occupational Safety, authorized persons and with an occupational medicine specialist,
• maintaining records of completed medical examinations,
• reimbursement of medical examinations

REQUIREMENTS:

• VŠS, VSS - occupational safety – passed state professional exam (general and special part), preferably passed state professional exam for fire protection, but not a requirement
• active knowledge of one foreign language in speaking and writing
• advanced computer skills
• B category driver's license
• readiness for independent work and teamwork
• Ability to navigate a dynamic environment
• breadth of interests and good general information
• high level of oral and written expression
• responsibility, flexibility, organizational skills, communication skills
