- Negotiate the best procurement conditions for the service areas according to position in different types of purchases, as well as services.
- Search for and develop new suppliers and alternative inputs that allow for maximizing benefits to the company.
- Develop current suppliers with the objective of creating more strategic relationships and maximizing benefits to the company.
- Follow up on deliveries, quality, and service of purchase orders, and in general, the performance evaluation of suppliers.
- Administer and coordinate administrative and operational functions inherent to the receipt of Raw Materials.
- Timely delivery of information to the Accounting department through the timely updating and capturing of relevant information. Review and scheduling of invoice payments.
- Execute activities complying with the Integral Responsibility Program for environmental protection, health care, and safety regarding the Codes of: Community Protection, Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control, Occupational Health and Safety, Transport and Distribution, Product Safety, and Process Safety.
- Support in the collection of necessary documents, uploading supporting documents to the portal, and following up on requirements for internal Audits, SGI, Corporate Governance, ISRS, SARI, PSM, Industria Limpia, supplier registration, among others.
- Document, maintain, and improve what applies of Total Loss Control (ISRS) to prevent, minimize, or eliminate risks associated with occupational health and safety, and what applies to the Self-Management System in PASST to prevent, minimize, or eliminate risks associated with occupational health and safety.
- Support in the generation and execution of consignment purchases of raw materials through the generation of purchase orders and/or requests for material shipment covered by current contracts.
Document, maintain, and improve what applies of the Integral Management System, SARI, Industria Limpia, PSM, and other management systems to which the organization subscribes. Requirements Ø Academic Level: o Minimum schooling: Bachelor's Degree o Desirable field of study: Chemical Eng., Industrial, Administration, or related Ø Language(s) and proficiency level: Intermediate English Ø Knowledge/Experience: o Areas of experience: Purchasing o Years of experience: 1 to 3 years Ø Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable according to local laws): Ø Required Skills and Knowledge: o Leadership skills (if applicable) o Administrative Skills (if applicable) § Ability in the application of professional knowledge § Ability to resolve adverse situations and problems § Administration and organization § Decision-making model § Administration and Finance § Management of economic resources o Technical Skills (if applicable) § Negotiation of commercial conditions § Information Systems (SAP MM Module) § Knowledge in areas: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, metrology, civil works, etc... § Knowledge of PVC Processes and Auxiliary Services o Computer Packages
