As a Brand Lead for the given area, you will be responsible for building a strong brand connection across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region for the growing portfolio of Opella brands, while simultaneously embodying the "Opella Challenger Mindset" approach. You will be in charge of the comprehensive brand strategy and its implementation, including positioning, communication, media, innovation, and creative development in close collaboration with agencies. This position also drives performance through budget management, influencing key performance indicators (KPIs) in sales and profitability, and anticipating risks and opportunities to achieve business goals. Furthermore, this role contributes to the development of future leaders and supports effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Building organizational engagement in the CEE region for the growing portfolio of leading Opella brands.
- Creating and managing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial result metrics with accuracy and strategic foresight in collaboration with country leadership teams.
- Overseeing meticulous brand financial management, including revenue growth, operating cost optimization, and profit improvement.
- Responsible for brand building (brand strategy - positioning and long-term plan, brand planning, communication and media strategies, innovation strategy) for the given countries and brands.
- Responsible for comprehensive brand activation across the entire consumer journey to enable them to take charge of their health. Driving seamless operational execution across all markets and ensuring consistency and excellent brand presentation. Collaborating on HCP engagement and e-commerce strategies and being responsible for the investments and materials supporting their implementation.
- Monitoring and influencing brand performance to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) in the given category regarding sales (sell-in/sell-out), profitability (ROI), and innovation (revenue growth).
- Anticipating and managing opportunities and risks to ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Contributing to building future managers within their team and inspiring growth throughout the organization.
Requirements
- University degree - field of business or marketing.
- Strong marketing experience in recognized companies in the OTC/FMCG sector at a national and/or regional level with proven results in significant business growth and brand building (measured by market share growth and brand equity growth).
- A strong balance in strategic and operational marketing as well as innovation.
- A sense for creativity and building effective relationships with creative agencies.
- Strong leadership skills (experience leading teams including relationships with direct reports, cross-functional teams, and effective cross-cultural leadership skills).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to function and influence in a diverse and complex matrix environment, and the ability to build sustainable social relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Experience with effective cross-functional collaboration, e.g., with supply chain, industrial development, market research, medical, and regulatory departments.
- Fluency in English.
