At ONCE we are looking for a Teacher for a permanent vacancy for our Centro de Recursos Educativos de Barcelona.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Observation and assessment of babies and students under 6 years old.
• Assessment of assigned students.
• Preparation of the intervention plan proposal.
• Programming of intervention areas based on the needs of the students.
• Itinerancy to the students' educational centers.
• Direct in-person attention to students, both inside and outside the classroom, including recess.
• Attention to adults undertaking regulated studies.
• Attention to students enrolled in special education centers.
• Intervention in the school environment through technical support and specialized advice to all agents of the educational community.
• Keeping the educational community (families, centers, other teams or professionals) informed about the needs and abilities of students with visual disabilities.
• Adaptation of material and didactic resources.
• Collaboration with other institutions or teams.
• Advising the classroom teacher on methodological and didactic resources, support, adaptation of resources and materials...
• Intervention in the family sphere (at an individual or group level – parent schools, workshops...)
• Introduction to information and communication technologies.
• Facilitating normalization, inclusion, and autonomy of the students.
• Monitoring the intervention carried out by other professionals with the assigned student.
• Development of programs and activities complementary to direct care.
• Design of resources, research, and training for other internal professionals and the different agents of the educational community.
• Coordination with the rest of the professionals.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? (Requirements)

• Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• C1 level of Catalan.
• B1 level of English, which will be validated through a test.
• Knowledge of braille.
• Proficiency in technological tools and Office suite at a user level.
• A minimum of two school years of experience as a teacher.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.
• In case of disability, possession of a valid disability certificate.
• Prior to hiring, it will be necessary to provide a negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sex Offenders, or a document proving the request for said certificate, in accordance with the provisions of Article 12, section 5, of Law 26/2015 on the “Modification of the Child and Adolescent Protection System”.

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO WE LIKE TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT? (Valuable requirements)

• Master's in Early Intervention, knowledge of sign language/alternative communication systems, experience working in the educational area with students with visual disabilities, courses related to the functions to be developed, as well as knowledge of corporate applications and participation in volunteer projects/actions.

• Permanent contract.
• Working day according to the current ONCE and its Personnel Collective Agreement and according to the schedule determined by the Center.
• Competitive salary of +31,000 euros gross/year, and after 2 years, move to senior category with a salary of +/- 41,000 euros gross/year.
