JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform continuous monitoring of aircraft airworthiness through communication with the CCO and crews to obtain information on in-line aircraft failures.
  2. In AOG events, coordinate failure attention with the maintenance manager of the OMA and support OMA technicians in the analysis and evaluation of actions to return aircraft to service in the shortest time possible.
  3. Maintain control of MEL deferred reports.
  4. Identify repetitive failures using information from previous days' reports, also supported by reliability information from the Airworthiness Management area; perform analysis of maintenance actions carried out and inform the OMA of the development of previous maintenance activities to provide continuity to troubleshooting works.
  5. Evaluate troubleshooting for deferred reports that so require, evaluating needs for personnel, tools, materials, and facilities. When necessary, coordinate or generate needs for the OMA's Logistics Processes Area and perform the respective follow-up.
  6. Coordinate together with the OMA and the Airworthiness Management area, during daily scheduling meetings, the troubleshooting works to be developed during maintenance periods so that they are as effective and productive as possible.
  7. Generate NRW work orders, with the description of troubleshooting works coordinated with the OMA, for the effective resolution of deferred or critical reports reported during daily operation.
  8. Follow up on the daily compliance of troubleshooting works for repetitive reports and deferred reports.
  9. Inform the Airworthiness Manager of the daily availability of aircraft according to the fleet condition once overnight maintenance activities are carried out.
  10. Inform the Airworthiness Manager when failure reports or malfunctions of MCM chapter III are presented to make the respective reports to the manufacturers and the UAEAC. Additionally, reports associated with the execution of OMA works that may give rise to warranty claims.
  11. Provide technical question support to the Operations Direction and its crews.
  12. Verify and agree with the CCO the technical delays generated by the OMA during operation.
