Operations Supervisor - Monterrey

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Maintain high-quality production in coordination with all washer leaders and workers, being an ethical person who supports compliance with policies, standards, and procedures both internally and within the company in general, as well as performing the necessary procedures for legal compliance; knowing how to manage resources by prioritizing the integral safety of personnel and the glass washing process to meet the inventory requests of the glassworks and the integral development of the other departments of O-I México.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with and enforce EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, rules, and procedures applicable to the different areas, activities, and roles according to the job positions, to "Finish Every Day Free of Injuries and Incidents" and make 0-1 a safer place.
- By the end of the first three weeks, know and be able to perform all activities carried out in the area; to support personnel training and understand their needs.
- In general, all personnel in this area must know, interpret, and apply the cullet specification format.
- Effectively apply quality procedures and internal regulations to keep hazards controlled and prerequisite programs in optimal condition, informing their immediate supervisor of any deviation or suspicious activity that could jeopardize quality.
- Have the values of honesty to report exactly the status of processed and unprocessed cullet.
- Be honest when reporting the monthly expenses obtained for all areas.
- Ensure that personnel payroll is entered in a timely and proper manner to avoid delays in payment.
- Ensure that contractor activities in plants are carried out safely and in a timely and proper manner to comply with their contract agreements.
- Ensure payments for orders for supplies required for the different areas, as well as payment to cullet suppliers and for services required in the plant.
- Maintain full personnel stock through constructive feedback to active personnel.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
Industrial Engineering or Bachelor's degrees.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
More than 2 years in manufacturing process supervision.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
- Intermediate English.
- EHS.
- Good manufacturing practices.
- Good documentation practices.
- SAP management.
