EHS Internship

YOUR ROLE: In this role, you will support the ASPP of our Aprilia plant in activities and projects related to Environment, Health, and Safety. You will be part of the broader EHS community of O-I Italy, which includes 10 plants in Italy and 1 in Hungary, each with at least one EHS specialist. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior EHS of the Aprilia plant and functionally to the EHS Manager Italy-Hungary.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Senior EHS in the development and updating of EHS policies, procedures, and training materials.

Conduct regular plant inspections and audits to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Support the investigation of incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

Participate in safety training sessions for employees, promoting awareness and a safety culture.

Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, contributing to the preparation of reports for management review.

Help maintain safety records, documentation, and databases to ensure regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will collaborate with various business functions to promote safety, well-being, and environmental protection at the Aprilia plant. You will work in direct contact with production activities, side by side with the glassmakers of the Aprilia plant, in the heat and noise of the shop floor: EHS specialists at O-I do not just work in an office.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Engineering).

English level B2 or higher.

WORKING MODALITY This position requires a constant presence in the plant from Monday to Friday – remote work is not provided for EHS roles.
