General Purpose: Implement and monitor the system and activities specific to environmental management (management, documentation, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement), through the establishment of programs and activities that apply to the plant's production processes, based on corporate guidelines and current legislation, in order to comply with the environmental policy established by the organization ISO 14001 and ensure compliance with procedures that impact the quality and food safety of the containers. Responsibilities: Plan and execute activities concerning environmental management, through the identification of needs, aspects, and impacts, in order to comply with the standard. Plan training and wellness activities in conjunction with HR on topics referring to Environmental Management. Plan the matrix for identification of environmental aspects and impacts. Design environmental programs, referring to objectives, goals, and indicators, taking into account the critical aspects generated in the matrix. Execute preventive or corrective actions planned in the matrix. Interact with external entities (authorities, suppliers, populations, among others), through documents, communications, and inquiries, in order to comply with regulations and seek new opportunities for the company. Identify legal requirements referring to the company such as local, national, and international standards, performing inquiries through different media. Prepare documents, communications, and inquiries when pertinent to legal or external authorities, according to the requirements manual. Establish agreements with entities and suppliers that bring opportunities to the company. Follow up with suppliers to ensure fulfillment of commitments. Plan and control the activities that the treatment plant and waste management operator must execute, taking into account the needs of the plant to cover these same. Maintain control and perform follow-up on variables that the treatment plant and waste management operator collects from the different tanks and plants. Follow up on the weekly tasks of the treatment plant and waste management operator. Organize the work plan of the treatment plant and waste management operator. Audit the processes related to the standard through the evaluation of procedure execution, guaranteeing that they are being carried out fully. Prepare and present compliance reports to coordination. Perform internal audits: (ISO 14001 and when customers require it). Present budget to the Plant Controller, identifying the planned activities in order to be able to execute them in a timely manner. Plan the monthly budget for EMS operations. Act as a member of the Plant Food Safety Team, providing support in the development of the activities and projects that it develops. Document, manage, and review the following PRPs: Establishments, Waste disposal, Pest control. Actively participate in the weekly committee and monthly trainings. As a member of the food safety team, you must: Validate the Flow Diagram of the process stages that are within the scope of the Food Safety Management System, the PRPs, HACCP Plan, and OPRPs. Perform audits and verifications of the assigned PRPs, OPRPs, and the HACCP Plan and/or validation when applicable. Report changes that may affect the integrity of the Food Safety Management System to the safety team so they can be documented and approved. Review and update the Food Safety Management system according to the established frequency. Audit and follow up on suppliers that impact product safety and follow up on the fulfillment of action plans. Review and approve the emergency plan and take the pertinent measures according to the results obtained. Education and Experience: Environmental Engineer with 5 years of experience in environmental management in companies of the Manufacturing sector, in charge of the following topics: Management of environmental permits such as: Emissions Water use concession Discharges Procedures before environmental authorities Knowledge of Colombian environmental legislation Reporting in government platforms: (RUA, Registro de inventarios PCB´s, Encuesta Manufacturera, INSQUI, SICOQ) Comprehensive management of environmental management programs Waste Wastewater treatment plants Atmospheric emissions control Noise management plans Chemical substance management Sustainability programs (Energy, Circular economy, post-consumption programs) Certification as an internal auditor in ISO 14001 Data Analytics English B2 Community work
