Your Challenges

• Strategic control and optimization of the supplier portfolio (cost, quality, delivery reliability)
• Negotiation of prices and conclusion of long-term supply and framework agreements
• Holistic supplier management including evaluation and escalation management
• Execution of market, requirement, and cost analyses as well as benchmarks
• Optimization of Total Cost of Ownership over the product lifecycle
• Representation of strategic purchasing in development projects (Make-or-Buy, supplier selection)
• Management of risks, obsolescences, and supplier changes
• Maintenance and use of relevant purchasing data in SAP

Your Qualifications

• You have a successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable course of study paired with an affinity for technology
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing of, among others, electronic components (including PCBs and MEMS)
• You possess strong cost awareness as well as negotiation skills in contract design
• You are characterized by a confident appearance, assertiveness, communication strength, and initiative
• You possess good English skills (at least B2) and good SAP knowledge
• A high degree of teamwork, reliability, and loyalty round off your profile
