Automation Engineer
Have you recently graduated in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, electric power, or automation and want to work with product development in an international technical environment? Our client is now seeking an Automation Engineer who wants to be part of developing the next generation of electrical systems for the company's crane solutions.
Working as an Automation Engineer The client is a global leader in solutions for load and handling within the marine and offshore industries. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced products used all over the world while simultaneously developing alongside experienced colleagues in a technology-driven organization. As an Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of modular and reusable electrical systems for crane products. The role combines electrical design, product development, and collaboration with suppliers, production, and other technical functions.
The Team You will become part of a competent development team with a strong focus on R&D and product development. The team works closely with both internal and international contact points and consists of designers, specialists, and engineers who together drive the development of future crane solutions. The role is located in Örnsköldsvik.
Your tasks
- Design and construction of electrical systems according to applicable standards and regulations
- Electrical hardware design in a 3D CAD environment
- Creation and maintenance of electrical schematics, data sheets, and technical documentation
- Development and maintenance of modular electrical systems
- Participation in FAT, SAT, and testing activities
- Participation in R&D and product development projects
- Collaboration with suppliers, subcontractors, and the procurement organization
- Handling technical queries from production, aftermarket, and commissioning
- Participating in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed
We are looking for you who:
- Have a university or master's degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, electric power, or automation
- Are at the beginning of your career, preferably with 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Have a great interest in electrical design and technical product development
- Have knowledge of electrical calculations and electrical systems
- Have experience with or an interest in CAD tools
- Are structured, curious, and solution-oriented
- Enjoy collaborating with different functions and contact points
- Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
