Tax Advisor M&A Tax / International Tax Law (m/f/d) in Dortmund
Tax support for transactions and international corporate structures
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tax Advisor M&A Tax / International Tax Law (m/f/d). In this position, you will advise medium-sized companies, shareholders, and investors on corporate transactions as well as complex issues of international tax law. You will accompany clients from tax structuring through implementation to integration and develop tailor-made solutions for national and cross-border projects.
Your future area of responsibility:
- Tax advisory for business acquisitions, business sales, and equity transactions
- Support in the tax structuring of M&A projects in national and international environments
- Analysis and assessment of tax risks and opportunities within the framework of transactions
- Participation in Tax Due Diligence projects as well as in the preparation of tax matters
- Advisory on business succession, transformations, and restructurings
- Development of tax structuring concepts for corporate groups and international structures
- Accompanying cross-border investments, financing, and reorganizations
- Preparation of tax opinions, statements, and decision templates
- Cooperation with lawyers, auditors, Corporate Finance consultants, and international network partners
- Support during tax audits and communication with tax authorities
- Active participation in the further development of the advisory area and existing client relationships
Your profile for the position Tax Advisor M&A Tax / International Tax Law (m/f/d):
- Successfully passed the Steuerberater exam
- Several years of professional experience in tax advisory with a focus on M&A Tax, Transaction Tax, or international tax law
- Sound knowledge of corporate tax law as well as in tax structuring advisory
- Experience in accompanying corporate transactions, restructurings, or Due Diligence projects is an advantage
- Understanding of legal and business contexts
- Interest in complex project structures and entrepreneurial issues
- Confident appearance when dealing with clients, investors, and decision-makers
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
- High level of initiative as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

Remuneration
- The position is attractively remunerated depending on qualification, professional specialization, and relevant professional experience.
- Standard target profile: approx. €80,000 to €100,000 gross per year
- With three to six years of relevant professional experience in the field of M&A Tax, Transaction Tax, or international tax law.
- Strong profile: approx. €100,000 to €130,000 gross per year
- With several years of experience in the tax support of corporate transactions, restructurings, and cross-border projects as well as independent client responsibility.
- Very experienced profile: approx. €130,000 to €150,000 gross per year
- With extensive experience in the structuring of complex transactions, advising demanding corporate groups, and actively supporting client development and business expansion.
