As a Service Technician at Nakamura-Tome, you will undertake the following tasks:
- Maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools
- Troubleshooting, error analysis, and proposal of corrective measures for our products
- Reporting to service management and providing feedback to dealers and customers
- Installation of design improvements and retrofit work
- Training of dealers and customers
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician or Industrial Mechanic
- Knowledge in mechanics, electronics, and computer science (Industry 4.0)
- Sound experience in the maintenance of CNC turning centers and CNC multitasking machines
- Solid mechanical knowledge, including machine tool mechanics and precision, pneumatics, hydraulics, as well as good knowledge of CNC/PMC software and hardware
- Experience with machine operation and/or FANUC CNC control would be an advantage
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact friendly with customers
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany and Austria

Full-time (38.5 hours/week)
Note:
Service assignments take place throughout Germany; you will be working 70–100% in the field and will mostly stay in hotels during the week.
