FINANCIAL MANAGER, Management professionals in finance (except financial and insurance services)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Full representation of the Finance Director during her absence in meetings with management, banks, and auditors.
• Operational management, development, and supervision of a smaller finance team of accountants.
• Management and control of production costs (raw materials, energy, cooperation, direct and indirect labor).
• Creation, revision, and evaluation of production calculations and monitoring of actual vs. planned variances.
• Analysis of production capacity utilization efficiency, machine hours, and labor productivity.
• Monitoring and optimization of inventory levels and turnover (materials, work in progress, finished goods).
• Coordination and active participation in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and medium-term financial plans.
• Preparation of regular monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Finance Director and management.
• Monitoring and management of Cash Flow (management of receivables, liabilities, and payment planning).
• Economic evaluation of planned investments in new technologies, machinery, and production modernization (ROI, NPV, IRR calculations).
• Subsequent auditing and control of the drawdown of approved investment budgets.
• Cooperation in the preparation of documents for the proper financial statements, audit, and tax returns.
• Continuous streamlining of internal financial processes and control mechanisms.
• Active use and development of the corporate ERP system (finance and production modules).

WE REQUIRE:

• University education in an economic field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of corporate finance principles, calculations, and cost controlling.
• Knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards (CAS), knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP is a great advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
• English language at a communicative level.
