Your job as a Tax Specialist:

You are responsible for the calculation and documentation of current and deferred taxes as part of the annual financial statements for the Group as well as for German individual companies based on HGB and IFRS (the calculation of current taxes is carried out in cooperation with external tax advisors). You support the preparation of tax returns as well as the examination of assessments and are the first point of contact for external consultants, tax authorities, and tax auditors at home and abroad. Monitoring the fulfillment of tax obligations of the foreign companies is also part of your area of responsibility. You accompany group projects from a tax law perspective and act as a contact person for tax-related questions within the company. Depending on your qualifications and interest, you will participate in many exciting topics such as transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File, C-b-C Reporting), the mapping of (cross-border) tax matters in ERP systems, or corporate law restructurings within the Group.

What you bring to the role:

• You have a successfully completed degree in the field of economics, taxes, or finance or comparable qualifications (e.g., as a Diplom Finanzwirt) or completed vocational training, e.g., as a Steuerfachangestellter / Steuerfachwirt
• A completed Steuerberater exam would be a plus
• You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position in an international group or a tax consultancy firm
• You are characterized by a structured, analytical approach combined with problem-solving competence
• In addition to an independent way of working with foresight, you impress through commitment, diligence, and a high standard of quality
• Very good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
