Plant Mechanic for Mechanical Installation (m/f/d)

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for several Plant Mechanics (m/f/d) for our Final Assembly department in the field of mechanics.
Your role:
As a Plant Mechanic in Mechanical Installation, you ensure that the technical plants and supply systems on board our ships function reliably. From assembly to commissioning to troubleshooting and optimization, you work on demanding technical systems and, together with your team, ensure the highest quality standards. Through your commitment, you contribute decisively to handing over our ships to our customers on schedule and in operational condition.
The main focuses of your area of responsibility are:
- Carrying out installation and assembly work in engine rooms, technical areas, and outfitting areas on board our ships
- Assembly of piping systems according to drawings, schematics, and technical documentation, as well as independent determination of pipe routes
- Measuring, fabricating, and isometric drawing of fitting pipes, even in complex installation situations
- Commissioning of technical plants and systems, including pressure tests, as well as supporting acceptance by customers and classification societies
- Carrying out measurement, testing, and documentation work on mechanical systems and plants
- Analysis and rectification of malfunctions as well as independent troubleshooting of technical plants
- Support and processing of demanding technical systems and plants
- Collaboration on work in the field of control and regulation technology
- Technical instruction and support for customers within the framework of commissioning and acceptance
What you bring with you:
- Successfully completed at least a three-year vocational training as a Plant Mechanic (m/f/d) specializing in Systemtechnik or Versorgungstechnik or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of piping and supply systems
- Good written and spoken English skills for collaboration in an international working environment
- Confident handling of technical drawings, schematics, isometrics, and technical documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting, malfunction analysis, and maintenance of technical plants
- Independent, structured, and quality-conscious way of working as well as teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and a high degree of problem-solving competence
