As part of our Corporate M&A team, you will work in an experienced, transaction-proven environment with high visibility within the Group. The multitude of complex and international transactions that we have successfully implemented in recent years speaks for itself.

As part of our further development, we are specifically strengthening the financial expertise within the M&A team. This role is particularly aimed at professionals with a background in Transaction Services – ideally from one of the leading auditing firms – who want to apply their expertise in an entrepreneurial context.

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the Finance workstream within our international M&A projects – on both the buy and sell sides.
• You manage Financial Due Diligence processes, including the coordination of external consultants.
• You design and negotiate purchase price mechanisms, accompany the preparation of Closing Accounts, and contribute to parts of the purchase agreement related to finance.
• You analyze business plans and valuation models, perform scenario calculations, and accompany external valuations and PPAs.
• You forecast balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow effects of transactions and coordinate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and the operational units.
• You evaluate strategic projects regarding their financial advantages and provide decision recommendations.

Qualifications

Your profile:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or a comparable transaction-related environment.
• Deep understanding of M&A processes and financial mechanisms such as EV to Equity Bridges, purchase price adjustments, and Closing Accounts.
• Successfully completed studies in the field of Finance, Accounting, or comparable.
• Strong analytical skills, high result orientation, and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration.
• Independent way of working, high commitment, and the ability to manage stakeholders even without a direct reporting line.
• Business fluent English skills, other languages an advantage.
