RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your role will be to participate in demonstrating the technical and regulatory compliance of cabin equipment, from test preparation to the analysis of results. You will be supported in your skill development and will progressively intervene on increasingly technical subjects. Concretely, you will:

  • Prepare and organize the tests necessary for equipment justification.
  • Participate in justifications related to fire, smoke, and toxicity of materials and equipment.

  • Prepare specimens and prototypes with the industrialization teams.
  • Participate in on-site testing when necessary.

  • Participate in searching for solutions when a test highlights a non-conformity or a failure.
  • Exchange with the design office regarding materials, adhesives, fasteners, or design choices.
  • Maintain and update the internal test database.

You will therefore be regularly split between analysis, calculation, writing, and field work.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

You hold a Bachelor's (Bac+3) to Master's (Bac+5) degree, for example in physical measurements, materials, aeronautical construction, mechanics, or engineering.

The position is open to a junior profile: 0 to 2 years of experience is perfectly suitable.

A first experience in an internship or apprenticeship in aeronautics, space, automotive, or rail, particularly regarding testing, calculations, or materials, will be appreciated. You have good foundations in:

  • Resistance of materials and structural mechanics.
  • Material behavior.
  • Analysis and interpretation of test results.
  • Writing technical documents.
  • Excel.

Knowledge of CS-25, ABD0031, FAR 25.853 or other aeronautical standards is a plus. Proficiency in CATIA V5, Nastran, or Ansys is also appreciated, but is not the core of the position.
